In a clever skit posted to Darren Wallace’s YouTube Channel, Mr. Stay Puft one of the beloved characters from the original 80s Ghostbusters film, gives what might be one of the most morbid reactions after watching the official trailer for the 2016 reboot of the film.
Throughout the video Mr. Stay Puft’s enthusiasm for the film seems to drop heavily and as a result, well, then end is full of Mr. Puft’s brains to give you a hint. It looks like he won’t be paying to see the film this summer.
Wallace, the creator of the video noted that it is not a reflection of his own opinion on the film, but a satirical skit pointing to all of the negative press the film has gotten without even being released.
The new film features an all female cast consisting of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. All of whom are big products of Saturday Night Live. The film has already been criticized despite the fact that it won’t be released until July 15. Many just can’t get past the original 80s version of the movie.
The 1984 Ghostbusters film featured a huge possessed Mr. Stay Puft character that carried out an attack similar to one you mind find in a Godzilla film. Do you think this new film will ever live up to the original?
