There are definitely certain styles and trends that have a direction relation to the 80s. These styles and trends have slightly made their way back into the present day, but the excitement surrounding them will never compare to the original decade.
“The ’80s meant neon brights and big hair, it was a time when punk and new wave fashions ruled. ABC 7’s Tina Malave got all dressed up in her 80s fashion to explore the decade of big hair, colorful fashion and culture. Malave sat down with Vintage L.A. and L.A. historian, Alison Martino who revealed everything was basically “tacky glamorous” in the 80s. She shared Madonna and Billy Idol autograph stories.
