The passing of Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds is still a fresh wound for many. However, HBO is hoping to bring their “Bright Lights” to fans in one last documentary featuring the pair.
A preview of the “Bright Lights” documentary was release by HBO and shows the hilarious nature of both Reynolds and Fisher. Fisher is trying to get her mother to get rid of an old flip phone, meanwhile, Reynolds believes it works just fine.
Fisher even cracks a joke about working on Star Wars VII, or as she referred to it “Star Wars seven-ty two.” She did share concerns for her mothers health and showed even more concerns about her mom losing her memory.
The documentary is a sweet reminder of how much these two cared for each other while exploring Fisher’s manic depression diagnosis.
Fisher and Reynolds were the epitome of a mother and daughter pair that were also the best of friends. The documentary will be released in memoriam of the mother and daughter who died just days apart.
You can watch the preview for the “Bright Lights” documentary set to premiere on January 7.
