You were probably never wondering what the Justice League would look like in 80s VHS form, however, it still exists. Just a few days before the release of the brand new Justice League film, a YouTube video featuring an 80s VHS intro of the characters has surfaced.
“A fan has cut together a grainy, VHS-style intro for Justice League, using real footage from the film’s promotional material to concoct the cheesiest, ’80s-accurate preview possible,” according to CBR.
“Boasting a classic ‘trailer guy’ voiceover and title cards advertising each of our heroes (almost like an ’80s sitcom intro), this fan trailer has it all.”
The cut of the superheroes are actually dead on. You can see Flash, as the witty, talkative character perfectly captured mid-speech. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman’s character is caught in a heated, yet, graceful moment. It’s truly amazing to see this trailer cut in such manner.
The video was posted to the darc91 YouTube channel and is slightly reminiscent to Thor version we wrote about prior to that film’s release.
The new Justice League film is set to hit theaters on Friday and features Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Henry Cavill as Superman.
