While browsing around the web this week for some 80s gold, we stumbled upon this incredible nugget called Totally 80s Pizza. It’s a combination 80s museum and pizza joint located in Fort Collin.
Totally 80s Pizza, an 80s Lover’s Dream
“The walls of the 65-seat 1717 S. College Ave. pizzeria are full of 1980s-era toys, memorabilia and autographs from pop culture icons of the decade,” according to Coloradoan.
“‘It’s like walking into a time capsule every morning,’ said employee Mark Brooks, who being born in 1986 is one of the older staff members.”
There is so much memorabilia however, that Totally 80s Pizza is looking to expand by moving to a larger location, according to owner Alex Morgan in the report. It’s steeped in plenty of 80s history that from some images, finds the decade oozing from the walls.
“Totally 80’s Pizza was first opened in 2014 by Alex and his wife Laura, who also run Daddy-O’s barber shops in Fort Collins and Loveland,” according to the report.
“They both grew up in the 1980s and spent nearly a decade planning the restaurant and accumulating the memorabilia before opening.”
Morgan believes that Pizza and the 80s just goes together. He uses the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as an example of that marriage with the delicious dish.
