When it comes to memorabilia, the 80s is filled with possibilities for collectors. One collector however, may have the largest offering of 80s memorabilia. So, how much is it actually worth? Well according to recent reports, it’s somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000.

Someone Has Over $100K in 80s Memorabilia

“John-Paul Annunziato thinks the ’80s are so rad, he’s shelled out more than $100,000 so far to build a totally tubular collection of 30,000-plus items that define the decade of shoulder pads, Valley girls, and ALF,” according to The New York Post.

“My goal initially was to bring back the 80s — the culture and the style,” he said. “There was no political correctness. No censorship. The clothes, everything was a statement piece… The 80s was a wild time.”

That is true dedication to a decade that is so jam-packed with stuff you wouldn’t know where to begin. Not to worry, according to the report, Annunziato got a couple of steals while he was building this “totally tubular” collection of memorabilia.

“I bought like 200 Nintendo games from someone for like $1,000,” said Annunziato, according to the report.

“A guy was selling like 30 or 40 GI Joe figures. I spent close to $2,000 buying them up in auctions over the weekend.’

Not bad right? You’ve truly got to see the photos of this collection, it will have you in awe and the 80s memorabilia in the photos will surely be a trip back in time. Click here to find out more about Annunziato’s 80s memorabilia collection.
