Thief Returns Sign Stolen In 80s With A Sorry Note And $50

A thief who stole a sign nearly 30 years ago has returned it to the city of New Smyrna Beach, Florida with $50 and an apology note. The sign reads “New Smyrna Beach says no to drugs” and apparently it was stolen back in the 1980s, during the hey day of Nancy Reagan’s “Say No To Drugs” campaign. Lt.
